In the aftermath of the Tsunami in 2004, I travelled to Sri Lanka with Andrea Galer who was setting up projects for the lace makers of the area, whose lives had been devastated.  Andrea works in film and TV as a costume designer (Withnail & I, Dickensian, Spooks, Persuasion, Bleak House etc etc), and had close contact with these lace makers for her film work, so felt passionately that she needed to help in any way she could.  These are a few of the images that came out of that trip.
